Several improvements, fixes and translation updates are now available for My Family Tree.

Here's a summary of the changes:

Text only dates now feature in statistics if the text can be interpreted as a valid date.
Extra options have been added for customising relationships. You can now choose from a greater range of parent child and spouse relationship descriptors to more accurately represent spouse and parent child relationships.
Siblings which were born on the same day are now displayed on the details edit panel.
Several new reports have been added including surnames, phonetics and parentage reports. Additional reports are planned for the next release.
Accessible themes are now automatically loaded according to the current system theme.

An important update with several improvements is now available for My Family Tree. Here's a summary of the changes:

Significant speed improvements when loading files, merging files, loading statistics, filtering, searching and backing up files.
Minor adjustments to the family chart. The selected person in the chart is now denoted with a small star after their name.
New features and performance improvements for merging files.
The sex of a spouse or partner can now be manually selected at the point when you create the relationship.
The birth order of siblings can be specified. It is often the case that the birth order of siblings may be known even if their dates of birth are unknown. You can edit the birth order using by clicking "Edit birth order" from the Details panel. The default birth order remains ascending by birth date where known then by the order siblings were initially added.

Several new features and improvements have been released for My Family Tree. Here's a snapshot of the changes:

Approximate ages are now calculated from birth or death related events and dates with date ranges.
The charts have been updated with new controls and an expanded options panel. You can now see how many people are displayed in the current tree and also enter a year to filter people from the chart. Print and image export options are still accessed by clicking the icon but chart display options are now displayed by clicking the icon.
Extra photo editing options have been added to the photo view.
Family statistics charts have been improved.
Support for per monitor DPI and online-only smart files has been added for Windows 8.1.
Improved use of name parts.
Many stability improvements.
