Downloading GEDCOM Validator
You can download the latest releases from the
GEDCOM
Validator downloads page
.
If you are using Windows 11 or a 64-bit version of Windows, the 64-bit installer is required.
Installing GEDCOM Validator
Double click on the GEDCOM Validator installer package to begin the installation and then follow the onscreen instructions.
During install you may be prompted for your permission to install the program. This occurs because GEDCOM Validator is not part of Windows needs your permission to start. All our software is digitally signed, which helps you to ensure that the program you downloaded is what it claims to be and verifies the identity of the publisher of the program. Always check that that the Program name and Verified published are shown as below.

Updating GEDCOM Validator
You can download the latest releases from the
GEDCOM
Validator downloads page.
New releases can be installed without removing the application, simply
download and install.
Removing GEDCOM Validator
GEDCOM Validator can be removed using the Settings app. This process removes all files which were created during the original install of the software. Users settings created during the use of the application and can be removed manually (KB0001). You may wish to keep these files if you plan to reinstall the application at a later time and want to keep your settings.
